Yes, there is a new pause function in the new Logbook system launched on 15 August 2023.
If you returned to work from your leave or break before 15 August 2023, this function will not be applicable to you.
The pause function pauses the time in your training contract and increases the amount of RPE days required.
For example, if a student pauses for a period of two months, their training period will increase two months to cover the time you were out of the workplace. RPE can only be counted and evidenced in the logbook while you are working, and no competencies can be gained in during that period.
