Reflective statements are written statements of your personal thoughts on what you have accomplished and how you have met the criteria to achieve it. You’ll need to provide reflective statements when submitting a competency or when submitting audit in RPE days.
Competencies:
An explanation of how the competency was achieved. This should be between 50 and 200 words. A reviewer or counselling member must be able to identify that it has been achieved from the content. You can refer to the example provided for each competency.
Audit:
A description of the work that has been performed, along with the engagement type, category of audit and examples of the work performed. This should be between 100 and 200 words. For example, accounts tested, auditing procedures conducted. Guidance on categorising audit time is included in the Fundamentals.
