There are several reasons why we might decline your application. The most common reasons applications are declined are listed below.
You did not submit all the documents we required
We need you to provide the following:
o A transcript from every university/college you are using for evidence.
o A completed non-accredited exemption application form.
o Evidence in the form of detailed module outlines, plus course notes every university/college course you reference in your form.
You did not complete the non-accredited exemption application form in detail
Each individual line in the grids within the non-accredited application form must be referenced to a specific course which you have completed at university/college.
You must also show at the top of each subject grid the modules which you will be referencing.
You did not achieve the required grade in every referenced module
You must achieve at least 50% in every module which you use as evidence to support your application.
You have not provided us sufficient evidence, in terms of the depth to which you have covered each area
The evidence you provide must show that you have covered our syllabus in sufficient depth. Do not simply use subject abbreviations and ensure you provide detailed module coverage.
You have not covered an area in the same depth as our syllabus does
We must be confident that you have covered areas to the same depth as we do in our syllabus. This will allow you to progress to the Skills (S) level. We want to give our Students the best chance to be successful in their CA training, so sometimes if we are not certain that you have covered all the material then we will say “no” to an exemption.
