We strongly recommend that you use a personal computer (laptop, desktop or MacBook) for ICAS assessments. That’s because employer-supplied devices sometimes have security restrictions that block installation and updates of the necessary software.

 

It’s your responsibility to check in advance that your chosen device works with the platform. You must complete the Onboarding Test (available on your assessment platform dashboard) before an assessment to ensure that any changes are identified before assessment day.

 

If your assessment is affected by technical issues when using an employer-supplied computer, you will not be able to apply for a Special Consideration.
