- Am I only allowed 2 tabs open in the browser – the assessment platform and the Excel sheet?
- Are the Excel files copies of what is in the appendix or will they be blank Proformas to fill in?
- Can I create additional tabs in the Excel document provided? Do I need to delete those before submitting?
- Can I open Excel on my desktop for questions where Excel files are not provided?
- Can I use Excel to answer other questions in the assessment?
- Does copying and pasting from Excel to the assessment platform ruin the format?
- For the Excel questions, do I need to copy my workings and answer from the Excel back into the answer box?
- Has ICAS carried out a trial of the assessments to test timings?
- If a question doesn’t have an Excel file, could I temporarily use a provided Excel document, create a new tab and carry out my workings before copying it across to the answer box?
- If I am using formulas in the Excel, do I have to type out each formula as text or will the marker click into each cell to see the formula?
- If I had a question where I had to show my workings from calculations, would this come with an Excel spreadsheet, or would I have to show journal entries in the textbox?
- If I was transferring an answer from an Excel document to the answer box, should I screenshot or copy and paste?
- If the Excel file is stored in Office 365, does that mean everyone will be opening the same file?
- If the question does not have a dedicated Excel file to use, is there a way I can open Excel in my browser from the assessment platform?
- If there are multiple questions that require Excel, do we use one spreadsheet and name each tab accordingly or do we use a different document for each question?
- In the Course Introduction Module, it says you must copy calculations and journal entries into the assessment platform or you will not get credit. Has this changed and will anything in Excel, relevant to the question, be marked?
- Where Excel is required, is the question visible in Excel or do I have to go between the file and the question?
- Will journal entries need to be answered in the answer box or in Excel and is there a specific way these need to be documented? i.e. DR CR at the top or to the side.
