Accessing Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Teams can be accessed via the app (which can be downloaded here) or through the web browser version.
You should ensure that you have the app-based version downloaded and installed prior to the assessment taking place.
To login to Teams, please use your ICAS student email address (e.g. jbloggs@student.icas.com) and password.
Channels
There are 2 channels which will be used for your assessments. Please ensure that you have turned on ALL notifications for the following channels:
- Announcements: this is where we’ll confirm the start time, send you important updates, reminders and links to key guidance ahead of your assessment(s).
- General: this is where you can ask us pre-assessment questions and contact us with issues. (Before posting a question, please thoroughly read all the guidance on this page and in the Announcements channel.)
They will also be used to communicate your timings and to release the special considerations form at the end of your exam.
Microsoft Teams allocation for reasonable adjustments:
You will no longer be added to a separate Team if you have a reasonable adjustment. Please refer to the details of your application and the timings that will be emailed to you no later than 2 working days before your assessment. If you don’t receive these and believe that adjustments should be applied to your profile, please contact students@icas.com as a matter of urgency.
