Yes, you can use an embedded Excel file even if the specific question doesn't include one. To do this, open a new tab in the embedded Excel file from another question, complete your calculations and then copy and paste them into the answer box of the relevant question.

 

Important: For questions without an embedded Excel file, all calculations must be pasted into the answer box - anything left in the Excel won't be marked. We recommend typing your answer directly into the answer box, as copying from Excel may cause formatting issues.
