No, you do not need to clear the whole room. Your desk should allow you enough space to have your permitted materials (e.g., calculator, blank paper, pens, water) and computer within reach. You must clear your desk of any items not permitted in the assessment.

You must complete a 180° horizontal scan of your assessment environment including the desk area at the beginning of the assessment. Please ensure that your environment is somewhere that you are comfortable being viewed by the invigilation software and ICAS invigilators.
